A two inch piece of high density foam adds resiliency and shape to the mattress. Our foam core mattress will sit up straight, fold well in the middle and keep a straight line along the edge. The Dreamton is a White Lotus original. When you order this natural cotton and wool mattress, remember that it has wool and cotton but you can choose to include foam as well, the Dreamton is just as supportive as our standard mattresses, but has the added dreaminess of wool all around it. We place a 1 inch layer of wool on the outer most layer.

The lounger is an alternative to a long bi-fold couch. Folded up it takes up less wall space. Made the same way as our cotton and foam mattresses. Opened into a bed it takes up the same amount of room as its bi-fold counterpart. The Lounger Set consists of two separate mattresses - one for the body and one for back so that you never see wrinkles on your futon. Lounger Sets traditionally come with a 2" foam center.

They are firmer and have about twice as many tuftings then our standard cotton mattresses. These mattress work best on platform beds or on the floor on top of a clean piece of fabric. They can also be placed on top of a box spring.

Not recommended for pull-out couches or futon frames.

Who buys these mattresses? Folks who meditate, are from Japan or India. We make a number of custom goods for these customers and because of this, we have created the Boulder style mattress. These mattresses are handcrafted just like our other cotton mattresses but we add one of two more layers of cotton and more tuftings to create a firmer mattress.
