They are firmer and have about twice as many tuftings then our standard mattresses. These mattress work best on platform beds but they can also be placed on top of a box spring. Who buys these mattresses? Folks who prefer a FIRM sleeping surface, meditate, are from Japan or India. We make a number of custom goods for these customers and because of this, we have created the Boulder style mattress. These mattresses are handcrafted just like our other mattresses but we add one of two more layers of cotton and more tuftings to create a firmer mattress.

Once a family member buys one of these mattresses, they come back and replace all or most of their mattresses and tell their friends. If you are from Japan or India, we guarantee you will prefer the Boulder style mattress.White Lotus Home makes great Indian cotton mattresses, just like in India!
