We need customer feedback on our Green Home Marketplace in New Brunswick, NJ.
On Earth Day, White Lotus Home is celebrating our 27th year in business and as much as we would like to rest on our laurels, we love to try fresh new ideas to promote green living. We are looking to open new retail locations, as was mentioned in our latest newsletter, but we are also executing the idea of promoting a Green Home Marketplace at our New Brunswick, NJ location. The idea is to get dozens of other green minded companies in our showroom space to display and offer their green, organic products and services for a minimal fee. It would have a sort of gallery feel to it. This Green Home Marketplace would provide “one stop shopping” for a wider variety of green products and it would be more of an incentive for people who come to our store. Also, we would like to use some of the space for not-for-profit organizations throughout the community.
We want to know what you, the customers and fans, think of this idea. Would this interest you as a White Lotus Home customer? What types of vendors would you like to see? Should the market focus on home design and green living, or would you rather see other types of green products? Feedback is essential for this project, as it will be a big step for us and we want to give our customers a chance to voice their needs. This is official White Lotus Home will start a GREENHOMESHOPS.COM site and physical store where all GREEN Home related vendors will be able to showcase their products to help our customers have a healthier, eco-friendly home!
The GreenHomeShops will include, green and organic bedding, furniture, mattresses, yoga and massage products, body care products, children accessories, building supplies, green appliances etc...

Yes, it would be great if you opened other retail locations. The idea of a Green Home Marketplace is very exciting to me. Its difficult to find green products in NJ. I'd like to see all sorts of green furnishings....anything, everything.

I think having a green home store in NJ is a great idea!
Folks have become more envorimentally constious and having one place where they can go to for all of their GREEN Home products is very smart. I look forward to seeing this store in action. Would you be covering natural bedding? Flooring and GREEN construction products?

I just discovered your store online - via treehugger.com. I am so excited! I have been looking for a store like yours (on the east coast) for what seems like forever. I cannot wait to come and shop. I am looking for 3 organic mattresses, and bedframes. It is very difficult to find environmentally friendly furniture in NJ. All the stored seem to be in California! I went to a flooring warehouse yesterday and asked if they sell Marmoleum, and they said "what's that?" Thank goodness for stores like yours!

i think this is a great idea and NJ needs a place like this. We have so many green minded individuals in this state. Having ONE place where we can go to for all our GREEN home supplies sounds like a no-brainer. I would like to see information on how to get solar panels on my home.
